Kelly Collins is the daughter of Amadeus and Agatha Collins. She is slightly
stuck up, but also very boy crazy. She usually gets whatever she wants when
she wants it. She knows how to work her parents well.
Kelly is hard on her brother, who doesn't get as much attention as she does.
She likes to be the one in the spotlight and the one everyone pays attention
to.
Daisy Louise MacQuillan
Age: 20
Height: 5' 3"
Coloring: Auburn hair with emerald green eyes.
Daisy's family came from a small town in Scotland by the name of Bellshill.
They immigrated when Daisy was 2 years of age, they settled in Philadelphia,
and there her father found employment at the shipyards. Her mother was a
housekeeper for a prominent family. The MacQuillan's were a hard working
people and instilled in their two daughters, the need to be able to find
their own way in this new world. As like most, they too came here attempting
to escape from religious persecution. Daisy's father insisted the girls got
as much education as they possibly could, though the education of young girls
was not a high priority at the time.
Daisy left home at the age of 17 to seek out adventure and hopefully find a
husband. Daisy is a normal young woman, who possesses no powers of magic or
any other occult skills. She is one of the rarities in Collinsport, she is
both good and human.
T. E. Stokes Bio
Thomas Elijah Stokes has newly arrived in Collinsport, bringing with him his
most cherished possessions, the few books he has been able to purchase with
the sweat of his brow. Thomas worked as a ship-builder in England, and
eventually decided to book passage on one of the ships he helped build with
his own hands. Thomas seeks intellectual freedom, away from the limited
interpretation of the Holy Bible as practiced by his Puritan neighbors. He
wants to be able to read any books he chooses, without condemnation as a
reprobate and sinner. Mr. William Shakespeare wrote of adulterers and
murderers, he will tell you, but he also wrote of justice and honorable men.
He has heard that this New England is a land of freedom and he hopes to find
employment in his trade in this village on the coast. Steady work at a fair
wage, enough to put a roof over his head, food in his stomach, and lamplight
by which to read at the end of the day.
Cher Morning Star
Age: 20
Height: 5' 5"
Coloring: Dark Brown eyes and hair; Native American
Cher was one of the orphaned Native children like her brother, Chianook, when
Amadeus and his men raided their village. Cher was only about 4 years old
when those men killed off her family, and most of the males. It was only by
the grace of the Missionaries that she and Chianook were able to survive
these past few years. Cher still suffers from a fear of all Whites and has a
difficult time in trusting anyone except her brother, and Rev. Smyth.
Cher knows she must try and get over her fear of the white-eyes as they are
here to stay now. She has tried to work at Ye Olde Blue Whale, but Danniel
Dubury is a harsh and prejudiced man. As long as he has enough wenches, he
will not deal with Natives. She has heard though he is in dire need, and
perhaps now she might get a chance to earn some money.
Cher is acquainted with the rich traditional background of her people. And
practices the old ways she was taught.
Joan McLeod

Black hair and blue eyes
Joan was born in a small village near Glasgow, Scotland. At an early age her parents moved to London so her father could find work. When she was 13, both her parents died of a fever and Joan was forced to live on the streets. Rather than prostitute herself, Joan turned to thievery to survive. She learned to fight and became quite adept with a knife and a sword. At the age of 16 she began to work part-time for a less than reputable doctor who operated on the seedy side of London. As she worked for him she studied his techniques and acquired some of his skills.
At the age of 19, she attempted to rob Andrew Collins as he left a tavern late one night. The two of them got into a duel and fought to a draw. Andrew was impressed with her swordsmanship and invited her to join his pirate crew. Once he found out about her medical skills he appointed her as ship's surgeon. She has been a member of Andrew's crew ever since.
Danniel Duburry

Coloring Grey haired, brown eyed
Not much to say about Danniel, he is a despicable man filled with prejuidices and hate for all not like himself. Currently he is the owner of "Ye Olde Blue Whale" Tavern, where he is in constant debt, and turmoil. Danniel is always looking for others to blame for his problems.
