Andrew Collins

Andrew Collins is the younger brother of Amadeus Collins. He is the more adventurous of the two, preferring a life on the high seas as opposed to a more settled one. He is currently the captain of Amadeus's pirate fleet.
Being a pirate, he can be cold and ruthless when the need arises. But he also has a gentler, more refined side which rarely comes to the surface. One of his favorite past times when on a long voyage is reading though he does not let his men know that. Not that any of them would dare ridicule him for they all live in fear of him due to his stern discipline. Despite their fear, they all respect him and are loyal to him as he is known to be a fair and just man.
Andrew is also a member of the coven led by Judah Zachary. He is somewhat proficient in the Black Arts and will not hesitate to use them when he deems necessary. There are some things he does have reservations about but he is in too deep to back out.
Andrew has never had a problem with the ladies, being a naturally handsome man. But he is not one to settle down and raise a family. He is more concerned with building up his fortune and acquiring wealth. That is until he meets the lovely Miranda Duvall, who steals his heart and sets his world in turmoil. He falls for Miranda instantly and will do anything to win her heart.
Miranda Duval
She worked as a bar maid, and to most men that
meant whore. A whore was one thing she was not. Not a blushing virgin by
any means, but certainly a whore for no man. She was from a fairly well off
family, but she had decided long ago that she wanted more from life than
marriage and children. She wanted adventure, and she wanted to see the
world. But she also had to support herself, and working in pubs was a way to
survive. Tavern owners seldom asked too many questions about where a girl
was from. When she had set out to find what she wanted, her family had acted
as if she ceased to exist. She had heard rumors that they were even telling
acquaintances she was dead. Well, so be it, she was following her dreams
Jack Duvall
Jack Duvall is 6'2" tall with light brown hair streaked with gold. He shares
the same vivid blue eyes as his sister Miranda. He is muscular, but not
overly so, having more of an athletic build. His father is a silversmith,
who has a shop in Boston and does rather well. Jack learned the trade
growing up, but like his independent sister, prefers to travel and make his
own way in the world. Because of this he has become a sort of Jack of all
trades. He has done carpentry and blacksmithing, trained horses, and even
spent some time as a sailor. His main love is fencing and he is an expert
swordsman. He loves his sister Miranda and feels that it is his job to watch
out for her while she is out on her own. Although he would never admit that
was the reason for his frequent visits and why he always seems to know where
to find her. They keep in constant touch through a mutual friend in Boston,
as they are both the "black sheep" of the family. Jack is 30 years old.

Age: 22
Chianook was born in the camp where Collinwood now stands. At the age of 8
his village was raided by the white men who came to settle the land. The
raiding party was led by Amadeus Collins who saw the land as a potential
residence for the large home he wished to build someday. The boy saw both his
parents slaughtered at the hands of the whites, and has never forgotten who
led that raiding party. He has vowed to get revenge one day, as he and his
younger sister, were left homeless and orphans. If it weren't for the
kindness of a few Quaker missionaries, he and his sister would have perished
that winter.
Chianook is well versed in the mystical powers of his tribe. He is the
grandson of a shaman, who placed a curse on Amadeus Collins, and all his
heirs. Unknown to Amadeus, he built his home on top of some sacred Indian
burial grounds. It has been Chianook who has been able to ease the restless
souls that seek revenge. There will come a better time for Amadeus to meet
with his fate, and Chianook has the powers to enact the forces against him.

Issac Collins is the son of Amadeus and Agatha Collins. He is quite stuck up
and flaunts his money around. His parents don't treat him as a man, but a
child. He wants attention from girls and will do almost anything to get what
he wants.
