Tutorial on how to Cut N Paste (CnP)

 OK, this is going to be similar to any other tutorial out
 there on how to
 CnP, but after all...how MANY ways are there to CnP?
 Please keep my name attached to this tutorial if you send
 it on to others.


 E-Groups...I would like to suggest that you take a look
 at this on the
 archive site, as there are a few little extra's for you
 in color to see! (Sorry I didn't think it wise to try to
send a ZIP file of the  pictures to the
 whole list!)
 
 (I suggest you practice this until you get it down pat,
 before you try it on
 sending to a list etc...Practice by CnP ing to a mail &
  sending that mail to
 yourself. If you get it right you will see ONLY what was
  CnP'd to yourself.
  Anything extra, other than the routing at the bottom &
  try again! :o(()
 
 This tutorial is made with Windows 98b (And SHOULD also
 work with Windows 98a
 & 95 versions as well)
 
1.) Open the mail you wish to CnP from.
 2.) Open a blank e-mail to CnP to.
 
 In the mail you wish to copy FROM, place your mouse arrow
  where you would
  like to begin CnP'ing.
 Then, holding down the LEFT button on your mouse,
  highlight ALL the text you
  wish to copy.
 
  Next, you need to click the RIGHT mouse button while the
  your mouse cursor
 sits in the highlighted area. A menu will open.
 Here you need to choose COPY.
  ***note #1...take care NOT to hit the left mouse button
 in the highlighted
  area as it will remove the highlight from it & you will
 need to start over again.

  ***note #2...when you choose COPY from the drop down
  menu, NOTHING will  happen...it will SEEM!
You are ok...move on to the next step.

 ***note #3...On MOST ISP servers you can also accomplish
  the COPY using the
  same steps above, but instead of RIGHT clicking your
  mouse, locate the EDIT
 button in your ISP toolbar. A drop-down menu will open &
 there you would choose COPY.
The effect is the same.
 
  NOW...open the mail OR THE SITE (IE DG blank POST page)
  you wish to CnP TO. Now, using the mouse, place the
  cursor anywhere you would
  like on the page or post site.
  Now, RIGHT click your mouse again!
  Another menu will pop up, this time Choose PASTE.
 
 Your highlighted text from the previous mail will appear
  in it's entirety.
  Neatly CnP'd & ready for you to comment on.
  ***note #4...If you chose to use the Edit button, you can
  still use the mouse
  to Paste your selection in OR you may use the edit button
  again by placing
 your cursor where you wish the text to be pasted & going
  to the edit button &
 choosing PASTE.

 You can use this technique in almost ALL applications on
  your computer, from
  your ISP...to MS Word & Notepad, to even PSP & copying
  tutorials like this one.
The presence of pictures alters it not one bit!
You can CnP those as well!
